* As a Band 6 Therapeutic Radiographer, you will deliver safe, high‑quality radiotherapy treatment using advanced techniques such as SABR, VMAT, DIBH, TBI and SRS.
* Work with cutting‑edge technology: Varian Halcyons, Varian TrueBeams, Siemens CT GoSims, HDR and ARIA.
* Participate in a multi‑site centre with satellites in Swindon & Milton Keynes.
* Support the team leader in management of pre‑treatment and treatment areas.
* Supervise, support and teach junior members and students.
Main duties of the job
* Senior member covering all departments: mould room, CT scanning, virtual simulation and contouring.
* Assist team leader with clinical workload organisation.
* Liaise with multidisciplinary team.
* Ensure efficient service delivery and workload targets are met.
* Supervise, support & train junior staff and students.

Person specification
* BSc (Hon) in Radiotherapy.
* HCPC registered as Therapeutic Radiographer.
* Core knowledge of radiotherapy equipment and techniques.
* Understanding of computerised treatment planning systems.
* Post‑registration experience through rotations.
* Experience with IGRT modalities.
* Evidence of postgraduate study.
* Previous NHS experience and senior experience.
* Experience with advanced techniques such as SABR, SRS, DIBH, TBI, Adaptive RT.
* Evaluation of CBCT images.
* Experience mentoring/training student radiographers.
