This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced welfare benefits and money advice professional who is passionate about helping people improve their financial wellbeing and sustain their tenancies.</p><h3>What youll be doing</h3><p>Working as part of a specialist Income and Money Advice team, youll provide practical support and advice to residents experiencing financial difficulties, helping them maximise income, understand benefit entitlements, manage debt and improve their financial resilience.</p><h3>Responsibilities will include:</h3><ul><li>Providing welfare benefit, budgeting and money advice to residents and their families.</li><li>Supporting customers with benefit applications, appeals and tribunal preparation.</li><li>Helping residents prioritise debts and identify sustainable solutions.</li><li>Working closely with internal teams and external agencies to achieve positive outcomes.</li><li>Maintaining accurate case records and management information.</li><li>Promoting financial inclusion and helping residents sustain their tenancies.</li><li>Building strong relationships with colleagues and partner organisations.</li></ul><h3>What were looking for</h3><p>Due to current capacity pressures, this role requires someone who can quickly integrate into the team with minimal training.</p><h3>You’ll ideally have:</h3><ul><li>Previous experience working as a Money Advisor or Welfare Benefits Advisor.</li><li>Strong knowledge of welfare benefits, income maximisation and money advice.</li><li>Experience supporting customers with benefit appeals and tribunal cases.</li><li>Experience working within social housing or a similar customer-focused environment.</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>Strong case management and record-keeping abilities.</li><li>A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).</li></ul><h3>Highly Desirable</h3><ul><li>Experience using AdvicePro.</li><li>Experience using Open Housing / IBS Housing Management systems.</li><li>Debt advice qualification or relevant money advice accreditation.</li></ul><h3>Why apply?</h3><ul><li>Immediate start available.</li><li>Competitive hourly rate of £21.54.</li><li>Opportunity to make a genuine difference to peoples lives.</li><li>Join a supportive and experienced team.</li><li>Meaningful work within a values-led organisation.</li></ul><p>If youre an experienced Money Advisor available at short notice and looking for your next contract opportunity, wed love to hear from you.</p><p>INDALL</p></div>
