I'm recruiting across four specialist roles for a growing solar PV and battery storage installer. All roles are permanent, office or site-based in Kent/Midlands. Please read the must-haves carefully before applying - these are firm requirements. ⚡ Role 1 of 4 — Solar PV / Battery Storage Electrical Engineer The Role You'll be hands-on delivering solar PV and battery storage installations across commercial sites. This is a working engineer role - you need to be comfortable on tools and on site. Location & Package Based: Swanley, Kent (site-based) Salary: £35,000 – £65,000 depending on experience and level Van & fuel card for business use Performance bonus Permanent, full-time Must-Haves to Apply You will not progress without all of the following: NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Engineering 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) — or actively working towards it 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing certification (or working towards) Valid ECS Card Hands-on commissioning experience on solar PV and/or battery storage systems Happy to be hands-on / on tools — this is not a supervisory-only role Desirable Solar PV / Battery Storage / EV qualification (City & Guilds or BPEC equivalent) AM2/AM2S certification UK driving licence Role 2 of 4 — Electrician Team Leader (Commercial) The Role You'll lead a team of electricians delivering commercial solar PV and battery storage installations on site. This is a hands-on leadership role - you need to be a fully qualified electrician with clear team supervisory experience, not just a senior sparky. Location & Package Based: Swanley, Kent (site-based, travel between sites required) Salary: £35,000 – £65,000 depending on experience Van & fuel card for business use Performance bonus Permanent, full-time Must-Haves to Apply You will not progress without all of the following: NVQ Level 3 in Electrotechnical Installation or City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Engineering — must be a fully qualified electrician 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) — or actively working towards Valid ECS Card Experience leading or supervising a team of electricians on commercial sites Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle Desirable 2391 or 2394/2395 Inspection & Testing certification Commissioning experience AM2/AM2S certification Solar PV / Battery Storage / EV qualification (City & Guilds or BPEC) Role 3 of 4 — O&M Manager — Renewables The Role You'll manage operations and maintenance across a solar PV and battery storage asset base. Site-based, hands-on, and requiring real field experience — not a desk or technical support background. Location & Package Based: Wrotham, Kent TN15 (site travel required — UK driving licence essential) Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 depending on experience Van & fuel card for business use Performance bonus Permanent, full-time Must-Haves to Apply You will not progress without all of the following: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Minimum 2 years hands-on Solar PV field experience — site-based O&M, not technical support Familiarity with string inverters (Solis, SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius) Full UK driving licence Desirable ECS/CSCS card City & Guilds 2399 Solar PV or battery storage qualification Role 4 of 4 — Solar PV Contracts Manager The Role Office-based contracts management role overseeing solar PV project contracts from award through delivery. You'll need strong commercial awareness and experience in a renewables or construction contracting environment.
