A quick look at the role The Operational Administrator supports IT by providing administrative services to include purchase order management, general support for IT Services leadership, software licence management, hardware asset tracking and organising travel, events and meetings.. Your core responsibilities Raise IT purchase orders and place them with the suppliers in a timely manner so that goods and services are delivered as soon as possible to minimise any business disruption. Process supplier’s invoices and credits to ensure they match and if any discrepancies/variations then liaise with the supplier, order originator and purchase ledger to resolve as soon as possible to minimise disruption. Ensure suppliers are processing our orders and delivering the goods and services on the agreed date so as to minimise business disruption. Ensure software is correctly licensed working in conjunction with IT Management and Procurement Organise travel, support team meetings and events as required. Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks agreed with and on behalf of department managers.. Our essential requirements Advanced IT Skills in MS Office applications including Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel Well organised with excellent attention to detail Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise.
