Construction - Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Main purpose of the job: Assist with the day-to-day planned preventative maintenance and functionality requirements of operating anaerobic digesters.
Responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance on anaerobic digestion plants throughout the United Kingdom
* Monitor and diagnose problems using the plant operation system
* Assist in setting up associated systems and conduct repairs/adjustments when necessary
* Maintain feeding, heating, and pumping systems to ensure correct and efficient operation
* Inspect and test alarm and functionality systems
* Follow safe systems of work and procedures
* Keep client sites clean and tidy
* Complete paperwork as required by the Maintenance Manager
* Take samples as required and advised by the Biological Support Team
Qualifications
* 18th Edition Electrical CompEx F and 01-04 Electrical (Desirable)
* Proven experience as an electrical technician
* Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and other systems
* Knowledge of electrical panel components, PLC hardware and software, electrical building services (desirable)
* Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
* Manual dexterity and problem‑solving skills
* Full driving licence
