The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will be joining an organisation that has built its reputation on employing the very best people in the industry and supporting them to reach their full potential. About the Role Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support their team of senior professionals. The role will involve: * Assisting with the preparation of tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities * Supporting the production of cost estimates and feasibility studies * Assisting with procurement, tender analysis, and reporting * Preparing valuations and progress reports under supervision * Gaining hands-on experience across all core areas of Quantity Surveying * Working closely with senior Quantity Surveyors, with the opportunity to develop towards Chartership (APC support provided) This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their career to gain exposure to a range of projects and sectors, with clear progression opportunities. About the Requirements * Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying (or currently undertaking a degree/apprenticeship route) * Ideally some industry experience (placement year, internship, or up to 1–2 years’ experience within a consultancy or contractor environment) * Strong numerical and analytical skills * A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from senior colleagues * Keen to progress towards RICS qualification (full support available) About the Salary Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience, up to £35,000.
