Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the site management team in overseeing and coordinating construction activities, ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations
* Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, assess risks, and implement corrective measures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Monitor contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and contractual obligations.
* Facilitate toolbox talks and safety meetings, offering guidance to on-site personnel on safety procedures and best practices.
* Support the Site Manager in maintaining accurate documentation, records, and reports related to health and safety compliance, incidents, and inspections.
* Act as a point of contact for on-site personnel regarding health and safety matters, addressing queries, concerns, and emergencies effectively.
* Contribute to the enhancement of health and safety practices by identifying areas for improvement and implementing proactive measures.
Requirements:
* minimum 2 years experience at a tier 1 house builder
* Up to date SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work certificate
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
* Strong organizational abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks, managing time efficiently, and performing well under pressure.
