Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a Canadian foodpany located in Cambridge, ON. We are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant to join their team on a contract basis of 6 months, which has the possibility of extension. This candidate will be working from their
CAMBRIDGE
Office on a full time basis.
Your new role
1. Ensure accurate recording of iing materials and FG in thepany's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
2. Create reports that highlight discrepancies between expected and actual weights for inventory items.
3. Review items received during the week to identify any discrepancies in the Goods Receipt Note (GRN).
4. Handle paperwork related to tankage (storage) or disposals (removal) of materials or products.
5. Track and consolidate data on production line downtime, ensuring accurate reporting.
6. Keep detailed records related to beef import quotas, includingpliance and usage.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Hands-on experience with accounting software, like QuickBooks.
8. Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets, charts, and using financial Excel functions).
9. Good understanding of bookkeeping procedures.
10. Time management and organizational skills.
11. Confidentiality.
12. BSc degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
