This role offers the opportunity to handle challenging and rewarding work involving inheritance‑related disputes and estate litigation. *Responsibilities * Manage a varied caseload of contentious probate matters. * Handle disputes including challenges to wills, Inheritance Act claims, executor/beneficiary disputes, and estate administration conflicts. * Prepare legal documents including claim forms, witness statements, and mediation summaries. * Conduct negotiations and represent clients at mediations and court hearings. * Work closely with counsel on complex disputes. * Provide sensitive and client‑focused advice during emotionally challenging matters. * Maintain accurate and compliant case management and billing records. * Undertake legal research and prepare clear written advice. * Support business development and help expand the contentious probate offering. Requirements * Qualified as a solicitor in England or Wales * Minimum 2:2 degree or equivalent. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks. * A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
