The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and versatile teacher who can deliver engaging lessons in Design and Technology across Key Stage 3. The successful candidate will:
* Teach a range of disciplines including product design, resistant materials, and graphics
* Plan and deliver lessons that promote creativity, technical competence, and independent thinking
* Monitor and assess pupil progress in accordance with school policies
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
* Support wider school initiatives and contribute to extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Design and Technology at KS3 level
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
* A genuine enthusiasm for design, engineering, and education
