Job Opportunity: Plumbing maintenance person.
We are recruiting on behalf of a well established client in the contract plumbing and heating industry, who is seeking somone to support on the plumbing miantenance for Bristol University. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected company, working on a range of projects with great earning potential and benefits.
Location: Various sites (domestic and commercial) across Bristol
Shift Patterns:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am – 16:30pm
Key Benefits:
1. Company van (for work use), fuel card, tools (excluding hand tools), and uniform provided
2. Enhanced DBS cost covered (if required)
3. Shift allowance: pay for Saturdays and 2x pay for Sundays
4. Additional leave: One extra day of leave per month on top of 28 days annual leave
Requirements:
5. NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer
6. Gas and pump experience is highly desirable
7. Renewable energy experience is a plus
8. Valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
9. Full UK driving license
Key Responsibilities:
10. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage, sinks, toilets, showers, and heating/cooling systems
11. Diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption for clients
12. Conduct pipe installations, troubleshoot plumbing problems, and perform regular maintenance of pumps, boilers, and appliances
13. Respond to emergency plumbing calls, providing prompt and professional service
Experience:
14. Plumbing : 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
15. NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (required)
16. CSCS (required)
