Support Diana, our Chef Café Manager, and her team in a charming setting in Braemar. Gordon’s Tearoom is one of the village's oldest establishments, serving delicious home-cooked meals, snacks, teas, and coffees. The tearoom operates Wednesday to Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with themed evenings on Fridays and Saturdays for dine-in or takeaway, last orders at 8 p.m.
We seek enthusiastic individuals with relevant experience, a passion for service, and a desire to develop their skills. As a Commis Chef, your responsibilities include:
1. Assisting with mise-en-place and cooking dishes.
2. Maintaining cleanliness and presentation in the kitchen and restaurant.
3. Handling set-up, cleaning, and cashing out according to operational procedures.

Ideal candidates will have:
1. Experience in a similar hospitality environment (preferred).
2. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
3. Initiative, strong communication skills.
4. Knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH standards.
5. The right to work in the UK (we cannot secure work visas).
