PSW Safeguarding Head of Service

Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and direction for the safeguarding team and services.
* Develop, implement, and review safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation.
* Lead investigations into safeguarding concerns, ensuring thorough and timely responses.
* Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to promote best practices in safeguarding.
* Conduct training and awareness sessions to enhance staff understanding of safeguarding issues.
* Monitor and report on safeguarding activities, outcomes, and performance metrics to senior management.
* Support and mentor safeguarding staff, fostering professional development and high standards.
Requirements
* Extensive experience in a safeguarding role within health or social care sectors.
* Comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding legislation, frameworks, and best practices.
* Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities in complex safeguarding scenarios.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse stakeholders.
* Relevant professional qualifications in social work, healthcare, or related fields.
* Ability to manage sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.

Pay Per Day: £376.96
