About Our Client
Michael Page are working with an accountancy practice in their search for a new Payroll Specialist. The firm are looking for someone with previous bureau experience to be responsible for managing their own portfolio of clients.
Job Description
Responsibilities include:
3. Processing the payroll either weekly or monthly.
4. Communicating with the client, via emails and telephone on any payroll issues they have.
5. Responsible for the payroll inputting.
6. Processing and filing of the RTI submissions
7. Processing any new employees, leavers and P45s.
8. Filing the EPS submissions and producing the P60s at year-end.
9. Filing monthly CIS returns and producing certificates for sub-contractors
10. Claiming CIS refunds at the end of the tax year
11. Dealing with the pensions and submitting relevant reports to the relevant pension scheme.
The Successful Applicant
The candidate will have:
12. Previous Payroll experience within a bureau setting
13. Existing knowledge of Sage Payroll
14. High attention to detail and levels of accuracy
15. Ability to work effectively towards deadlines
16. Strong communication skills both written and verbal
17. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel
