Capital Change Portfolio Coordinator - (Continuous Improvement and Digital Team, PMO, Asset Delivery)

*** 12-month secondment / fixed term contract ***

Location: Buttershaw, Bradford, hybrid working - moving to Leeds Valley Park in Summer 2026

Work type: Permanent. 37 hours per week, Monday – Friday

We have an exciting opportunity for a Capital Change Portfolio Coordinator to join the Asset Delivery Programme Management Office at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

New environmental legislation, unprecedented levels of investment and changing expectations from customers means that this is an exciting time to discover opportunities within the water industry. The Asset Delivery Programme Management Office are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators.

Yorkshire Water are currently recruiting for a Change Portfolio Coordinator for a 12-month period, to deliver administration, co-ordination and support activities across the Continuous Improvement, Digital and Curriculum and Development teams.

10. Coordination of required actions, meetings and follow ups for CI, Digital and Curriculum and Development activities
11. Update, review, and allocation of work through the coordination of the Capital Programme Continuous Improvement Dashboard
12. Support the team with administrative tasks associated with improvements to end to end process, training and development
13. Provide general administrative support for the Team.
14. Produce and manage communications, dashboards and Sharepoint sites
15. Monitoring of team in-boxes and assigning actions
16. Leading on small projects as required

Where you fit in:

As our Capital Change Portfolio Coordinator, you will;

17. Administer the Continuous Improvement dashboard which includes managing the new ideas log, working with stakeholders to investigate the ideas, and feeding back to the individuals that have submitted ideas.
18. Provide timely reports using Microsoft Apps and Power BI
19. Support projects teams to deliver change projects adopting the Continuous Improvement governance process.
20. Work with other PMO teams to manage the Integrated Management System (IMS) and administer the Asset Delivery Way (CDIMS), the Asset Delivery Learning & Delivery Hub site and our PMO Sharepoint site.
21. Own the team and wider PMO SharePoints site and keep it up to date with relevant communications.
22. Coordinate and support documenting processes and producing business process diagrams.
23. Support on documenting Procedures and Guidance.
24. Deliver small Continuous Improvement projects.
25. Support the team to deliver change impact assessments.
26. Support the team to own a calendar of training and events.
27. Support in the production and planning of training material and events.

What skills & qualifications you will need:

28. Experience of project and programme administration and co-ordination
29. Experience of using Microsoft Apps and Power BI
30. Experience of using SharePoint and Visio
31. Experience of developing and maintaining effective internal and external relationships.
32. Good organisational skills be proactive and be able to work successfully in a team.
33. Report writing and presentation skills
34. Analytical and reporting skills
35. Working with colleagues inside & outside the team, to support the day-to-day delivery of team, department, and directorate objectives.
36. A flexible and agile approach to the completion of tasks, working beyond team boundaries as and when necessary.
37. Strong communication skills and be able to communicate with a range of different people both internal and external to Yorkshire Water.
38. Clearly demonstrates the Yorkshire Water company values and behaviours.

You will also benefit from having:

39. Previous experience in a commercially orientated and / or regulated environment.
40. Previous experience gained within the water or wastewater sectors or within the broader utilities, process or manufacturing industry sectors.
41. Experience in Continuous Improvement
42. Experience in Integrated management systems
