Process Development Manager - Up to 14 month FTC London Circa £60,000 (pro rata) ️ 25 days bank holidays (pro rata) Company pension Are you passionate about bringing new food products to life and driving process excellence from concept to launch? We’re looking for an experienced Process Development Manager to lead and deliver exciting development projects, ensuring smooth transitions from kitchen, through the factory and to launch. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage projects end-to-end, mentor a skilled team, and work closely with technical, innovation, and operations teams to make every launch a success. What You’ll Be Doing * Be actively involved in trials, validations, and factory runs — working closely on the production floor to troubleshoot and optimise. * Take ownership of process development projects, ensuring they run to time, spec, and budget. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product launches. * Identify opportunities to enhance manufacturing efficiency, product quality, and scalability. * Oversee documentation, product specifications, and artwork approvals to meet internal and regulatory standards. * Guide and support junior team members, helping to build capability and foster a culture of accountability. * Engage with suppliers and stakeholders to keep projects aligned and on track. What We’re Looking For * Strong technical and process background in food manufacturing. * Proven experience leading process development or NPD projects from concept through to launch. * At least 5 years in a technical or leadership role within food manufacturing. * Skilled communicator who can influence across multiple levels of the business. * Confident using specification systems. * A proactive, detail-focused approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
