We are working closely alongside a long term client of ours, based in the heart of Basingstoke.
Due to an outstanding start to the year, they are keen to expend their commercial property team by onboarding a further solicitor.
The role already has an established and well regarded client base, there is room to bring a following but this is by no means necessary as there is plenty of work!
In this position, you will be supported by an experienced secretary/ paralegal if desired, giving you maximum opportunity to perform and excel.
Your caseload/ responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
* Manage an active caseload of property matters, while also developing your own portfolio of clients – with dedicated administrative support available from the team.
* Handle transactions from instruction through to completion, ensuring smooth and efficient progress at every stage.
* Advise on a variety of property work, including the purchase and sale of both freehold and leasehold properties, drafting and renewing leases, landlord and tenant issues, property finance arrangements, and land deals for development purposes.
* Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues as appropriate to your level of experience.
* Contribute to business development by fostering relationships with prospective clients and professional contacts.
* Ensure all work complies with internal policies and external regulatory requirements, including maintaining standards in line with the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS).
Your day to day role will be varied and progression is there for the taking!
