About the Role In this role, you will: Provide individual support to children and young people (up to age 16) who have experienced domestic abuse. Develop and deliver activities and events to help children overcome the effects of abuse. Support children in building confidence, self-esteem, and practical life skills. Carry out safety planning and make referrals to external agencies where needed. Act as an advocate for children in schools, court, and child protection settings, and support families during resettlement, ensuring ongoing access to relevant services. Run peer support groups and promote positive relationships between carers and children, and work alongside adult support workers to assess and support the whole family. To participate (on a rota basis) in the delivery of an out of hours on-call rota.
