About the role
The Wedding Sales and Marketing Executive is part of a small, highly committed team that helps grow wedding sales for the business. From the initial show rounds through to event bookings and on‑going account management, this role is varied and rewarding. As a leading luxury event venue, clients expect the very best; wedding specialists have a deep understanding of customer service excellence and a genuine love of going above and beyond to create a highly personalised experience. You will need to establish immediate rapport and quickly get under the skin of clients’ individual needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Sales
* Develop a deep understanding of a couple’s wedding requirements and guide them towards the best choice for their needs.
o Attend Open Houses and the Showcases to look after couples and convert as many bookings as possible (we hold two Open House evenings a month, and three Showcases a year)
o Run virtual or in person show rounds as required
o Support the Sales team with management of the inbox and What’s App channels so that all enquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately
o Account manage the relationships with booked wedding couples through our CRM system, Sonas, and over the phone, so that their journey towards their wedding is enjoyable and stress free.
o Answer phone enquiries about weddings at Hedsor
o Have a thorough understanding of Hedsor’s various wedding offerings and work closely with the Operations and Event team to ensure these are communicated to couples and expectations on both sides are clear
o Monitor the daily sales dashboard to check on progress towards targets
o Regularly contribute ideas for improvements to products and services so Hedsor remains competitive and leads the industry in best practice.
Marketing support
* Some social media work including caption writing and engagement – responding to comments, re‑sharing content and commenting on other posts
* Supporting the Senior Marketing Executive to manage the Photo Library, including saving imagery sent by our couples, categorising images, uploading them to our scheduling platform, Later, and tagging them.
* Actively reaching out to photographers for photos and ensuring permissions are sought for all photos used
* Updating our listing site imagery/content
* Creating Real Wedding stories for the website
* Some ad‑hoc research tasks
General Admin
* Taking minutes from team meetings
* Managing the distribution of surprise and delight gifts to customers
Other
* Performing other tasks as and when required by the team
Please note there will be some weekend and evening working required for this role.
About You
Qualifications
* Educated to degree level or equivalent - desirable
* Maths and English GCSE – essential
* Sales, Marketing and customer service training - desirable
Experience and knowledge
* An understanding of the wedding industry is highly desirable. Alternatively, experience in event sales or other luxury services or products will be considered. However, the right person will trump this.
* CRM platform experience desirable, but training will be given as required
* Experience and confidence in social media platforms
Skills and abilities
* Genuine passion for the industry and a desire to sell Hedsor in a way that inspires our couples and makes their experience memorable
* A warm and friendly manner which quickly builds rapport with our couples
* Incredible attention to detail, presenting Hedsor in the best way possible at all times and ensuring diary dates are maintained rigorously
* Experience of working with a wide ranging and diverse group of customers
* Excellent standard of spelling and grammar with exemplary written communications skills
* An ability to remain calm under pressure and manage difficult conversations successfully
* The ability to work collaboratively with a team
* Punctual and with good time management skills and the ability to prioritise
* Highly reliable
* Good knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly Word, Outlook and Excel. CRM experience beneficial, but training will be provided if required.
Other
* High level of personal presentation; this role represents the brand at all times
* Holds UK Driving Licence. As the Estate is not easily accessible via public transport, use of a car is essential
