Reed Education is working with a supportive and community-focused primary school in the WF9 area of Wakefield to appoint an enthusiastic and confident teacher for a varied position beginning after the February 2026 half-term holidays.
About the Role
This is an engaging opportunity that combines classroom teaching with wider leadership and support responsibilities.
Afternoons – Year 6 Class (20 pupils)
You will teach a small but complex Year 6 class. The pupils have a range of emotional and social needs, so the school is looking for a teacher with excellent behaviour management, strong pastoral skills, and a nurturing, patient approach.
Mornings – Leadership Time, PPA Cover & KS2 Support
Your mornings will include:
* Leadership release time
* PPA cover
* Support across Years 3–6
This blend of responsibilities allows you to work collaboratively with the wider staff team and contribute to school improvement across Key Stage 2.
