Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Wellingborough & surrounding areas
Salary/Bonuses: £35,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience) + overtime & benefits
Neos Engineering are partnered with a well-established business operating within the construction plant and heavy equipment sector. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to recruit a Mobile Plant Fitter to support their fleet across customer sites.
The Role:
As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a wide range of construction plant machinery. This will include equipment such as diggers, excavators, dozers, and other earthmoving machinery. The role is field-based, covering Wellingborough and the surrounding areas, carrying out diagnostics, breakdowns, and planned maintenance to ensure machinery is kept operational and safe.
The Candidate:
The successful candidate will ideally have experience working on construction plant machinery; however, applicants with strong transferable mechanical skills are encouraged to apply. This could include backgrounds in HGVs, agricultural machinery, forklifts, material handling equipment, or other heavy mechanical environments. You should be confident with mechanical fault-finding, have a proactive approach to work, and be comfortable working independently in a mobile role.
