Doncaster College is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Personal Development Facilitator to join our Student Services team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on learners’ personal growth and wellbeing.
About The Role
You will facilitate the delivery of the College’s Personal Development (PD) curriculum, helping learners build confidence, resilience, and employability skills. Working closely with curriculum teams and support services, you’ll contribute to a positive learner experience and help students thrive beyond their technical and vocational studies.
Essential Criteria
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A relevant vocational or professional qualification at Level 3 or above.
* GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above (or willingness to work towards).
* Experience supporting learners in a teaching, tutoring, mentoring or coaching role.
* Ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
* Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver group PD sessions in line with the College’s PD Scheme of Learning.
* Support learners in developing employability, time management, and life skills.
* Maintain accurate learner records using electronic systems (e.g. ProSuite).
* Collaborate with curriculum and support teams to address learner needs.
* Contribute to the development of PD resources and staff training materials.
