As a Head Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical leadership of the nursing team ensuring we deliver exceptional care, always there for our clients, patients and colleagues whilst maintaining the highest levels of regulatory, practice and operational standards and compliance. Working pattern is a mixture of early shifts 8:30am-6pm or 10am-7:30pm Tuesday-Friday (Monday off), with 1 in 6 weekends worked at Medivet Watford 24 hour. Bank holidays are also shared throughout the year and our RVNS participate in an on call rota covering around 2-4 weeks on call per year. We’re looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Medivet Wexham. Our practice offers a small, welcoming environment with a loyal client base and a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere. As Head Nurse, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting clinical standards, mentoring colleagues, and delivering exceptional patient care. Located on the edge of Slough and just a short drive from Windsor, the practice is well connected offering easy access to London and the M25. This is a full-time role, working Tuesday to Friday, with shifts alternating between 8:30am–6:00pm or 10:00am–7:30pm. Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care. Experienced in working effectively as part of a team. Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficien cy.
