We are seeking a highly organised and proactive School Administrator to join a welcoming and supportive school in Middlesbrough. This is a pivotal front-facing role, providing efficient administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external agencies, so professionalism, discretion, and excellent communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Managing the school reception and acting as the first point of contact
Handling tele and email enquiries in a professional manner
Maintaining accurate pupil records and data systems (e.g. SIMS/Arbor)
Supporting attendance, admissions, and general administrative processes
Liaising with staff, parents, and external professionals
Assisting with safeguarding and compliance documentation
Providing administrative support to the wider leadership team
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in an administrative role (school-based desirable)
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Confident using Microsoft Office and school systems (or willingness to learn)
A calm, professional, and approachable manner
Desirable (but not essential):
Experience working within an educational setting
Understanding or experience of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including supporting EHCP processes or liaising with external agencies
Knowledge of safeguarding procedures within schools

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
