Location: West Suffolk Hospital Salary: £38,682 per annum (with progression to £46,580) Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00 Annual Leave: 27 days + Bank Holidays Role Overview The Estates Minor Works Team Leader is responsible for the management, planning, and delivery of minor works and small construction projects (up to approx. £250k) across Trust sites. This includes supervising multi‑trade staff, delivering capital and revenue-funded projects, ensuring compliance with healthcare engineering standards, and supporting the overall Estates service and Capital Programme.The role combines technical expertise, project leadership, staff supervision, safety governance, and stakeholder engagement within an acute hospital environment. The post holder must ideally come from a construction background and demonstrate strong coordination, organisational, and communication skills.They will also contribute to staff recruitment, development, apprenticeships, and workforce planning within the Estates Department.The post includes participation in the Senior Engineers On‑Call rota.
