Job Title: Painter & Decorator
📍 Location: Southampton-based +surrounding (Portsmouth, Salisbury, Bournemouth)
💷 Pay: £21 CIS or £17 per hour PAYE + holiday (£36k+ salary when perm)
🕒 Hours:
Mon-Thurs: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Fri: 8:00am - 3:30pm
Additional pay for certain travel time and overtime
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to work with a respected property maintenance contractor covering the Southampton area and surrounding region (Portsmouth, Salisbury, Bournemouth). This is a long-term opportunity focused on, primarily in the social housing sector.
🔧 Role Responsibilities:
Carry out both interior and exterior painting and decorating
Work across both occupied and void residential properties
✅ What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in painting and decorating (ideally within social housing or domestic maintenance)
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel within the region
DBS check will be required (we can provide)
