We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cooker Operative to ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Production & Efficiency
* Operate machinery to achieve optimum efficiency and meet production targets.
* Report and record faults, downtime, and performance issues.
* Complete pre-start checks and ensure machines are clean and in good working order.
* Follow correct specifications, including programmes, films, and date codes.
Quality & Compliance
* Maintain cleaning standards before and during production.
* Ensure weights, metal detection, and print checks are carried out at the required frequency.
* Verify seal integrity and ensure products meet quality standards.
Yield & Waste Control
* Set and maintain weights within agreed tolerances.
* Minimise waste, including floor waste and overproduction.
Policies & Procedures
* Follow all company policies, including health & safety, quality control, and safe working practices.
What You Will Bring
* Experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferred).
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to follow procedures and work to targets.
