Job Title: Children's Adventure Play Barn Team Member
Overview: Hockerhill is a unique indoor and outdoor adventure play barn for children located in Brewood, South Staffordshire. We are a family run start up business aiming to provide a fun, nurturing and educational space for children and their families. We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic individuals to join our team as Team Members who will play a crucial role in creating a safe and enjoyable environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
* Customer Interaction: To engage with children and families, providing friendly assistance, guidance, and ensuring a positive experience throughout their visit to the play barn.
* Safety Oversight: Monitor play areas to ensure children are playing safely, adhering to safety rules and guidelines, and intervene when necessary to maintain a safe environment. First Aid Certificate admirable.
* Maintaining Cleanliness: Assist in maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the play areas/ kitchen/ toilets etc, including regular cleaning of equipment and play surfaces.
* Assistance with Events: Supporting events, parties, and activities within the play barn as directed by supervisors.
* Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations, assisting in tasks as required and contributing to a positive team environment.
* Cash Handling: Assist with transactions, ticket sales, and other monetary transactions while ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
* Adherence to Policies: Follow all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety, customer service, and operational guidelines.
Qualifications:
* Passion for working with children and families, with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Ability to communicate effectively with both children and adults.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe play environment.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
* Previous experience in a customer service-oriented role is a plus.
* Fire safety certificate/ First Aid certificates preferable.
