As Electronic Systems Engineering Manager, you will lead the design, development, and validation of embedded electronic systems, combining digital, analogue, and firmware/software technologies. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth transition from concept through to production and in-field validation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and mentoring a small team of hardware and firmware engineers.
* Overseeing system-level design and integration of complex electronic products.
* Designing and verifying digital and analogue circuits.
* Developing and debugging embedded software in C/C++.
* Defining and delivering validation and verification plans, including compliance and environmental testing.
* Supporting root cause analysis and issue resolution during validation and field trials.
* Collaborating with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements.
* Driving innovation while maintaining compliance with relevant safety and regulatory standards

You should have:
* A degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering or related subject.
* 5–10+ years’ industry experience in systems engineering roles.
* Strong experience in digital and analogue circuit design.
* Embedded software development expertise using C/C++ with real-time systems (RTOS).
* Knowledge of communication protocols (i.e. CAN bus, Ethernet) and debugging tools.
* Experience with PCB design tools and simulation packages.
* Proven ability in product validation, compliance, and multidisciplinary development.
* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
