Head of Trade Sales (Travel)
Salary £85,000 - £90,000 per annum + £4,800 car allowance.
Field based across UK.
At Saga, we are looking for a new Head of Trade Sales to play a pivotal role in accelerating revenue, market share and brand influence for Titan Travel and Saga Ocean & Rivers across the UK travel trade. This is a critical position at the heart of our growth strategy, tasked with elevating the impact of trade as a key commercial channel. You will define and deliver a bold, modern trade strategy, strengthen our position with existing partners while reshaping and optimising our distribution to unlock new opportunities for growth. Success will come from driving greater productivity, building differentiated propositions, and ensuring our brands are consistently the preferred choice across agent networks, consortia and homeworking groups.
You will inspire and develop a high‑performing national team while personally owning senior relationships across the trade. Your time will be spent in the market to build advocacy, unlock commercial growth, and maintain front‑of‑mind status with important partners.
This role requires strategic clarity and executional pace, a challenge to the status quo, and a drive to deliver measurable step‑change in performance. You will bring energy, resilience and commercial instinct to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, using insight, creativity and rigour to maximise ROI and deliver against ambitious growth targets.
Titan Travel is a brand owned and operated by Saga Travel Group, with Titan continuing as a separate, integrated entity within the Saga Travel business.
Role Responsibility
* Define and deliver a bold, modern trade strategy, balancing program years and delivering assigned passenger and revenue targets.
* Inspire and develop a high‑performing national team while personally owning senior relationships across the trade.
* Challenge the status quo and reset the current trade position to achieve step‑change in performance.
* Maximise ROI using insight, creativity and rigour, and deliver against ambitious growth targets.
* Own the trade marketing budget, allocating funds to maximise ROI.
* Ensure Titan Travel has defined market share goals with each strategic partner.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to be the voice of the trade and align internal strategies to trade needs.
* Maintain relentless standards and continuously improve the experience for trade partners.
The Ideal Candidate
* Proven leadership experience within Travel Trade, combining strategic oversight, people leadership and operational delivery.
* Exceptional people management skills, particularly in a flexible/hybrid working environment.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to quickly form relationships.
* Resilient, driven and sales‑driven, commercially savvy.
* Eye for identifying commercial opportunities and translating this into results.
* Ability to partner with stakeholders and challenge where necessary.

Field‑based role with expectation to spend 3 days a week in the market, attend industry events and regular attendance at the Folkestone office.
