UK Internal Sales Executive

Who we are looking for:
Effectively manage customers by ensuring orders are processed within relevant timeframes and handle queries by email or telephone to a high level of customer service. Communicate effectively with internal teams to provide best customer outcomes. Provide excellent customer service supporting UK account credit and debit administration and preparing quotations.
What you will do:
1. Use computerised systems (currently Syspro and Salesforce CRM) to process customer orders, check inventory and respond to customer issues, capture customer interactions.
2. Process and progress orders through to dispatch.
3. Maintain telephone contact with customers, external sales teams, and transport companies to ensure a timely communication flow between all parties.
4. Manage customer requests for stock returns in line with Company policy.
5. Process customer requests for credits and process debits in a timely manner.
6. Respond to customer enquiries relating to stock, pricing and discount and provide st level technical support where possible.
7. Engage in outbound telephone activity to promote sales, including inactive accounts, Buying Groups under promotion, etc
8. Provide customer quotations.
9. Provide the external sales team with information relating to quotations, customer accounts etc.
10. Organise transport for non-standard deliveries
11. Support our external sales team with customer information including quotations, customer accounts and orders.
12. Ensure deliveries are progressed and any issues relating to delivery are dealt with efficiently, with the correct escalation where necessary.
13. Liaise with all departments on issues relating to product manufacture, assembly etc.
14. Provide general administrative duties to support the UK team as directed by Team leader.
15. Any other duties of a similar nature as required.
What you bring:
16. Minimum GCSE A-C English & A-C in Mathematics or equivalent
17. Computer literate – intermediate level or above in Word and Excel
18. Working knowledge of CRM systems, Salesforce would be desirable.
19. Good telephone manner
20. Outbound telephone experience
21. Ability to build rapport with customers.
22. Office Administration experience
23. Ability to work as part of a team and on your own initiative.
24. Ability to prioritise own workload and manage own time commitments.
