LOCATION: Stevenage (Typically 3 days a week in the office, 2 days remote)

You will be responsible for ensuring avionics qualification of the Functional Avionics perimeters. You’ll become the expert on the ins and outs of how the satellite works and performs!
The role is to define the Vehicle Systems Architecture and the development logic according to Vehicle Structure / Airframe Architecture and to overall aircraft architecture requirements, to integration constraints and to aircraft development logic. Cascade requirements to sub-systems or systems components in order to ensure that Sub syst/Eq/Comp/Mod.Develpt. Responsible develop the sub- system or system components. Ensure proper integration of sub-system/system components at the system level.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
* Co-engineering within the Functional Avionics perimeter (SW, AOCS, SRDB, FV, FVI) and with assembly, integration and test (AIT) and System Engineering
* Providing a key interface to the customer, project management and technical lead
* Manage Functional Verification activities schedule, quality, costs and risks as the focal point for all FV related activities within the Project
* Define the whole FV strategy for the project
ABOUT YOU
* Engineering background in one of the following: Space, Electrical, Embedded software, Command & Control, Communications, Robotics
Extremely useful technical knowledge includes:
* Knowledge of Satellite systems
* Experience in system testing with HW components
