Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practitioners (ANP and ACP) to join our healthcare team in order to support a Telephone Triage service in Leicestershire. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, conduct thorough assessments, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. This role requires a strong foundation in medical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes.
Please note this is an on-site role providing assessments to patients.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive consultations over the telephone.
* Utilise advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat, and refer patients requiring the clinical service.
* Provide education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
* Stay informed about advancements in medical practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures within the clinical setting.
Qualifications
* Valid NMC / HCPC / GPhC Registration
* Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) is essential
* Postgraduate / Level 7 study
* Assessment / Clinical Examination module (Level 7)
* Telephone / Remote Consultation experience
* Proven experience in patient care settings, demonstrating the ability to manage diverse patient populations effectively
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to providing compassionate care while respecting patient confidentiality and dignity
