As an Events Coordinator, you'll be an important part of our events team, helping to plan, coordinate, and deliver a wide range of events that contribute to AXA's growth and success. From managing logistics to supporting sustainable options, you'll ensure every event runs smoothly, and within budget. Your attention to detail and ability to work with different teams will make a real difference in creating impactful experiences for our clients and colleagues.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, conducting site visits or running or attending events.
What you’ll be doing:
* Support the development of event plans aligned with business goals
* Coordinate logistics including venues, catering, transport, and registration
* Manage relationships with suppliers and venue agencies to ensure smooth delivery
* Research and recommend sustainable options for event materials and practices
* Assist with creating event collateral and working with the design team
* Maintain attendee data, send invites, and produce attendance reports
* Support on‑site event delivery, ensuring everything runs seamlessly
* Track event costs, manage budgets, and handle post‑event follow‑up

What you’ll bring:
* At least two years of experience supporting corporate events, ideally in finance or insurance
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Confident communicator capable of liaising with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools; Salesforce or event tech experience is a plus
* Creative problem‑solving skills and a flexible, team‑oriented attitude
* Enthusiasm for sustainable practices and new event technologies
* Professional, proactive, and eager to deliver high‑quality events
