A day in the life of a Buying Admin Assistant

1. Maintaining CP, communicating with suppliers regularly to ensure that key deadlines are met and any risks to deliveries are highlighted in advance and shared with wider team.
2. Regular CP calls to help build supplier relationships.
3. Setting up new styles in our internal systems
4. Provide administrative support to the Assistant buyer and the wider team
5. Sample management: organising and preparing samples for press, shoots
6. Owning approvals process and managing up to Assistant buyer to ensure deadlines are met.
7. Responsible for sending out courier packages and opening post daily.
8. Carrying out online comparative shopping to develop and maintain knowledge of the current marketplace.
9. Assisting team meetings- helping prepare for monthly reviews and sign offs
10. Prepping for fit sessions
11. Additional ad-hoc tasks

12. The ability to work on your own initiative and in a fast-paced environment
13. A strong team ethos – working collaboratively, building excellent relationships and communicating confidently to both peers and suppliers
14. The ability to work well in a team but with the ability to strive in individual tasks
15. Highly organised with excellent time keeping skills
16. Excellent communication skills
17. Strong commercial awareness
18. PC and Excel literate
19. Exceptional attention to detail
20. A passion for clothing

We offer hybrid working which varies across the business depending on the role you’re in. Our Head Office is located in the Northern Quarter in Manchester City Centre.
