We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team as we are partnered with an esteemed client in Ilminster. that specializes in designing and manufacturing advanced optical components and systems used in aerospace, defense, telecoms, life sciences, and industrial applications. In this role, you will ensure that incoming materials, in‑process production, and finished products meet required quality standards. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, recording results, identifying non‑conformances, and supporting re‑work where needed. You will also maintain inspection equipment, comply with health, safety, and quality procedures, and work closely with production teams to uphold company standards and values.
Essential skills include strong communication, organisational ability, numeracy, literacy, and awareness of ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards. Desirable qualities include problem‑solving, adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
