Change Lives in High-Energy Schools Across Greater Norwich

Do you want a role where what you do actually matters? Are you confident, resilient, and motivated by challenge rather than routine? If you’re someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to make a genuine difference to young people who need strong role models, this could be the perfect opportunity.

We’re looking for committed, adaptable individuals to work as Teaching Assistants in dynamic and challenging school settings across Greater Norwich, Norfolk and surrounding areas. These schools support pupils with a range of learning, social, and behavioural needs and rely on adults who bring consistency, confidence, and calm into the classroom every day.

This is not a passive classroom role. You’ll be an active, influential presence, supporting learning, managing behaviour, and helping pupils develop the skills, resilience, and confidence they need to succeed. Whether your background is in education, childcare, youth work, care, coaching, or behaviour support, your ability to engage, motivate, and lead will be essential.

Driving is essential
You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle, as placements may involve travel between schools at short notice.

The Role

Supporting pupils with complex academic, emotional, and behavioural needs in high-energy classroom environments

Implementing structured, personalised strategies to improve behaviour, engagement, and learning

Assisting with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum activities

Managing challenging behaviour positively using clear boundaries, consistency, and calm communication

Helping to create a structured, safe, and purposeful learning environment where students can thrive

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

Feels confident working in fast-paced, high-pressure school settings

Has strong natural classroom presence and behaviour-management instincts

Remains calm, resilient, and solution-focused when challenges arise

Takes initiative and adapts quickly to changing situations

Builds positive, respectful relationships with students and staff

Please note: A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential.

What You’ll Receive:

Access to Teaching Personnel’s CPD Academy, including accredited training and development opportunities

Competitive weekly pay, reflecting experience and performance with the opportunity for a permanent role

Simple, user-friendly online systems for timesheets and communication

Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant who understands the realities of the role

If you’re proactive, resilient, and ready to step into a role where your presence can genuinely change outcomes for young people, apply now and start a rewarding career supporting schools across Greater Norwich and beyond.
