Job Title: Field-Based Forklift Engineer\n Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire\n Salary: £33,000-£39,000 base (OTE £45,000+) - paid door to door\n Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 + Door to Door Paid + Overtime @ 1.5x\n Job Type: Full-time, Permanent\n\nAbout the Company:\n Interaction Technical is proud to partner with a leading material handling firm that is experiencing significant growth. We are seeking an experienced mobile forklift repair engineer to join their dynamic team. Our client provides comprehensive handling and access solutions across the UK, with multiple sites nationwide.\n\nBenefits Package:\n\n24 days annual leave + public holidays (32 days total)\nPaid travel time from door to door\nExtensive training and development in electrical and mechanical repairs, fault finding, and diagnostics\nOvertime available at 1.5x\nPension scheme\nCompany van and fuel card, including reasonable private use\nAll travel time and expenses covered from home to/from site\nExceptional earning potential with opportunities for career advancement\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDiagnose faults, service, and perform emergency repairs/breakdowns on plant and forklift machinery\nCollaborate with customers regarding plant, lifting, and handling products\nWork independently at customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure proper documentation and solutions\nTravel to various sites to repair equipment and develop effective solutions\nWork on engines, batteries, pneumatics, hydraulics, and perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs\nRequirements:\n\nPrevious experience in the plant or forklift industries (essential)\nExperience with hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical systems (essential)\nExperience with engines and batteries (essential)\nElectrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience\nRelevant qualifications (NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering) are advantageous\nFull UK Driver's License\nAbout Interaction Recruitment:\n Interaction Recruitment has specialist consultants across various industries in the UK, including Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial, and Hospitality.
