Sue Ross Recruitment are seeking an experienced property or estates professional looking for a new challenge, working in the heart of Sheffield City Centre on a temporary contract 6 months as an Estates Manager. In this role you will contribute to a holistic, strategic, and proactive approach to asset management—ensuring buildings, tenants, and contracts are managed efficiently and to the highest standard, including a range of legacy properties and land. Key Responsibilities: * Support in strategic purchasing agreements and best-value initiatives. * Assist in proactively managing the property portfolio, including lease negotiations, renewals etc. * Work with the legal team on leases and licences through to completion and prepare land-registry-compliant plans. * Carry out inspections of tenanted units to ensure statutory compliance and maintenance obligations are met. * Support procurement activities such as contract negotiation and tender management Candidate Requirements: * Experience in property, estates or asset management. * Knowledge of leases, landlord/tenant obligations, compliance, and property inspections. * Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder-management skills. * Ability to work proactively across legal, finance and operational teams.
