This leader will champion a suite of high-impact initiatives, tools, and processes that strengthen our commercial capabilities and empower our sales teams to excel.In this role, you will proactively drive progress across key actions and KPIs, translating data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decision-making. Your timely reporting, analysis, and recommendations will directly influence how the Division operates and how we enable our teams to surpass their targets.As our Power BI and CRM Champion, you’ll partner closely with the Divisional Sales Director, Business Unit Commercial Excellence Manager, and sales teams to enhance adoption of commercial systems, embed best practices, and cultivate a culture where excellence is part of everyday work. Your leadership will help create a consistently aligned, high-performing, and customer-centric environment.MissionTo foster a culture of excellence by driving adoption of Commercial Excellence processes, tools, and systems that unlock sustainable growth.VisionTo enhance the effectiveness of our sales teams and maximise return on investment.GoalsTo enable a proactive, aligned, and high-performing team that delivers customer-focused outcomes and achieves or surpasses our growth ambitions.ValuesYou embody our commitment to Integrity, Care, and Progress, ensuring that how we work is just as important as what we achieve.ResponsibilitiesProvide data, insights, and reports to the Divisional Sales Director to support visibility, decision-making, and monthly/annual planningPartner with the Business Unit Commercial Excellence Manager to roll out Commercial Excellence initiatives and embed best-practice processes across the sales teamWork directly with sales teams—both remotely and through on-site lab visits—to drive adoption of systems (CRM, Power BI), initiatives, and a consistent commercial operating rhythmMonitor campaigns, KPIs, BD activity, leads, and opportunities; analyse performance, identify root causes, and guide actions to improve resultsSupport and manage divisional growth initiatives, pricing actions, budget preparation, pipeline reviews, and Go-to-Market planningCollaborate with marketing to align divisional needs, drive campaigns, and generate new business opportunitiesAssist with key account planning, market/customer analysis, and strategic growth activitiesLead onboarding for new commercial team members on systems, processes, and CRM use; deliver training and coaching as neededAct as CRM and Power BI Champion, staying current on system updates and representing the Division in development discussions with central/IT teamsEnsure compliance with company policies, safety, environmental standards, and all applicable regulations.Skills / QualificationsProven ability to analyse and interpret commercial dataProven experience in sales support / salesExperience of working with PowerBI desirable, but not essentialAdvanced skills in MS ApplicationsCRM championAbility to remain calm when faced with mounting pressure related to deadlines and prioritiesWell-developed oral and written communication skills to meet a variety of communication needsGood interpersonal skills that foster open upward and downward communicationAbility to travel, with overnight stays, may be requiredCompany OverviewElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
