We are looking for an experienced Admin Assistant to join our Richmond unit on a casual basis. You will work as part of the team carrying out administration tasks efficiently and friendly, ensuring that clients feel accepted, supported, and confident about BPAS services.
As a Casual/Bank employee you will benefit from flexible hours that suit you, as well as a pensionable income.
About You
You will have proven experience of working within an office environment, carrying out administration duties. You will be an excellent communicator both internally and externally and will demonstrate a friendly and positive attitude when interacting with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
Responsibilities
* Answer and direct telephone queries, liaising with internal and external colleagues as necessary.
* Accurately check or complete BPAS and legal paperwork, ensuring all relevant documentation is available for the client’s episode of care.
* Monitor, edit and amend appointment lists using the BPAS booking system, informing clients if changes to their appointments become necessary.
* Assist in monitoring, controlling and ordering stock, sorting and distributing incoming mail, and preparing and dispatching statistical information and reports.
Additional Desired Skills
* Experience dealing face‑to‑face with patients who may be upset, within a care environment.
* Knowledge of clerical procedures including checking documentation, telephone and reception duties.
* Good attention to detail, supportive towards colleagues and clients, and effective team player.
