Job description We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Assembly Operative (Woodworking & General Labour) to join a busy workshop environment. Location: Blackburn Shift Hours: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Duties include: Measuring materials accurately using a tape measure Assisting with basic woodworking and general labour tasks Assembling products using diagrams and instructions Packing finished products and preparing them for dispatch Packing equipment and occasionally travelling to site to assist with installations or on-site work Supporting general workshop duties as required Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy Following health and safety procedures at all times Working both independently and as part of a team What we’re looking for: A positive, reliable, and hardworking attitude Ability to work on your own initiative Physically fit and comfortable with manual work Willingness to learn and develop woodworking and assembly skills Good attention to detail A good level of numeracy and communication skills Ability to follow instructions and diagrams accurately A strong awareness of health and safety A full UK driving licence is advantageous What’s on offer: £12.71 per hour Full training provided Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a woodworking and production environment If you’re interested, please apply with your CV and a member of our team will be in touch.
