We have an exciting opportunity for aManagement Accountant to join our office-based Finance Team at our Spalding Site Reporting to the Site Accountant, the successful candidate will support the site in delivering its objectives through identification of gaps in performance and ensuring accurate reporting, reconciliation, and analysis of daily, weekly and monthly results. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and effective financial control throughout the business. You will be responsible for and required to undertake the following duties: Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly files Analyse data, investigating & reporting on anomalies Identification and tracking of gaps in performance Involved in budgeting & reforecasting process Prepare monthly journals Support in checking Site monthly submissions are SOX compliant Complete detailed balance sheet reconciliations Provide an excellent customer service by building strong relationships at all levels of the business To carry out other duties that may reasonably be requested of you to ensure the efficient running of the business Knowledge, Skills, Experience: Good communication skills Strong grasp of basic accounting concepts and financial control Health and Safety Awareness Experience with accounting software, ideally SAP Strong Excel Skills Experience/Qualifications AAT qualified and studying towards further professional qualification such as CIMA Excellent communication Able to work independently Good attention to detail ADZN1_UKTJ
