Key Responsibilities
* Formulate the UK & Ireland IT strategy and contribute to regional business plans aligned with corporate guidelines and policies.
* Set direction and oversee the preparation and execution of IT plans, integrating regional and global applications in collaboration with stakeholders.
* Lead strategic activities and initiatives across the region with significant impact and high business risk.
* Manage IT budgets, proposals, and monitor investments.
* Establish IT governance mechanisms within corporate guidelines.
* Ensure effective delivery of IT services and solutions aligned with business priorities.
* Evaluate and approve major IT projects, including regional integration initiatives.
* Drive program and project delivery within quality, time, and budget constraints.
* Manage relationships with IT service providers locally and globally.
* Promote acceptance of targets and objectives through effective communication.
* Negotiate agreements and contracts, adjusting terms as necessary.
* Build strong business and IT relationships within the region, coordinating with counterparts.
* Implement world-class IT operations and practices regionally.
* Introduce innovative solutions to improve regional operations.
Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience with a strong focus on results and respect. Proven success in developing and implementing impactful IT strategies aligned with global objectives is essential. Experience working in a matrix organization and leading cultural change is beneficial.
* University degree / MBA.
* 8-10+ years of relevant IT experience.
* Supply chain experience is preferred but not mandatory.
* Experience in strategic planning for large teams or units.
