An opportunity has arisen within the South Coast Nursing Homes group for a Domestic Assistant at Abundant Grace in Seaford.
Hours - 28 average per week
WK 1 - Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun all 8-4
WK 2 - Mon, Fri, Sat all 8-4
The purpose of this role is to keep the home clean and safe, providing a superior
service to our residents
* To provide a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the
home at all times.
* To clean residents' rooms thoroughly each day after nursing staff have
completed their patient care. To check flowers and plants and
water/dispose of as necessary.
* To clean communal area's including mopping, vacuuming, dusting
* Ensuring the home is safe e.g removing clutter, keeping storage area's tidy
* Shampoo carpets as and when needed.
* To present and provide clean and ironed laundry at all times, available for clients as needed
* To take particular care with resident's personal laundry, to prevent accidental damage and present in well ironed state.
* To check resident's personal laundry for tears, broken zips or lost buttons and refer to matron for discussion if a repair if necessary
