Teaching Personnel is working closely with a school in Hyde that is currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support Year 2 students. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to work in a school with motivated, engaged pupils and supportive families.
The role is full-time (8:30 am – 3:30 pm) with the school looking for someone to start in September.
Role Responsibilities:
* Provide encouragement and support during core foundation subjects.
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to Key Stage 1 pupils.
* Support classroom and behaviour management strategies.
* Help foster a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Candidate Requirements:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant experience working with children, preferably within a school setting.
* Knowledge of the KS1 Curriculum and effective support techniques.
* Relevant qualifications or training in education or childcare are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
