Join Our Team as a Pasty Production Technician!
We’re looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join our Pasty Production Team here at Proper Cornish — the home of award-winning Cornish pasties and savoury bakes loved across the UK!
Starting pay: £13.10 per hour
Enhanced rate: £16.38 per hour (for hours between 20:00–06:00 or over 37.5 per week)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00–14:30 (with two 30-minute unpaid breaks)
Start and finish times may occasionally vary, so we’re looking for people who can be a little flexible when needed.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Pasty Production Technician, you’ll be part of the core team responsible for mass-producing pastry used to make our famous Cornish pasties and other pastry products.
You’ll:
* Operate and move large-scale bakery equipment
* Follow set recipes and processes to ensure consistent quality
* Prepare and handle pastry in bulk, ready for our production lines
* Help keep everything running smoothly to meet daily targets
It’s a hands-on, fast-paced, and active role, perfect for someone who enjoys working as part of a busy team and takes pride in doing a good job.
