Overview
Manpower is recruiting for one of our leading Builders Merchant clients in Haddington. We are looking for a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver & General Yard operative to join a well-established, rapidly growing company on a temporary basis. The role will initially be for 5 weeks but has the potential to be ongoing after this period depending on performance.
Responsibilities
* Loading and unloading products safely and in a timely manner, in accordance with the company’s safe system of work.
* Keeping the yard clean and tidy.
* Stacking stock safely in the yard in adherence to the correct company procedure.
* Ensuring goods are checked, accounted for, and loaded correctly.
* Heavy lifting of products in the yard.
Requirements
* A valid counter-balance forklift license is essential for this role. We cannot accept in-house tickets for this role.
Details
* Location: Haddington
* Pay: £13.50 per hour
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30–17:00
* Duration: 5 weeks with potential for extension based on performance
