Salary: £29, - £33, (pro rata for part-time)
Hours: 21.6 per week, 52 weeks sessional
Working pattern (week 1): Mon 7:45am to 3:27pm, Tues 7:45am to 3:27pm and Wed 10:18am to 6pm, all with 30 minute unpaid breaks.
Working pattern (week 2): Mon 10:18am to 6pm, Tues 7:45am to 3:27pm and Wed 10:18am to 6pm, all with 30 minute unpaid breaks.
The successful candidate will either have an HNC in Childcare and Education or an SVQ Level 3 or Social Services (Children and Young People) SCQF Level 7.
Corstorphine Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and resilient Early Years Practitioner to join our nurturing Early Years and Early Level team.

In addition to a full complement of classrooms, the school is well provided with rooms for other specialist purposes. There are currently separate rooms for music, drama, support services such as Support for Learning and English as an Additional Language, a hall which is used for Physical Education and Assemblies, and a library.
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. Anunconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
