Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (14:00 - 22:00)
Salary: Up to £17.25 per hour inclusive of shift allowance, dependant on experience.

About The Role
This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their quality career or from a machining or production background looking to transition into quality. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you’ll play a hands‑on role on the shop floor, working closely with Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers and Production teams to maintain high standards and keep operations running smoothly.
You’ll support day‑to‑day quality activity, from managing non‑conformances to performing process and product audits, helping ensure components meet exacting standards and customer expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Carrying out process and product audits on the machining shop floor
* Supporting production teams with real‑time quality considered choices
* Measuring components and validating findings
* Raising and administering non‑conformance reports (NCRs)
* Preparing and tracking products for rework with subcontractors
* Assisting with manual measurements and documentation
* Contributing to process instructions, care points and KPIs
Who We’re Looking For
* Experience in a manufacturing, machining or production environment
* Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001
* Comfortable measuring components and following documented processes
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills and comfortable to overcome obstacles when needed
* Eagerness to learn and progress within quality
* A good working knowledge using MS Excel and Outlook
* Ability to travel to site
